Born on the 19th July 1960.

1968 – He starts studying at "Filarmonica Sestrese Casimiro Corradi Ghio II" in Sestri Ponente, Genoa.

1978 – He gets his trumpet diploma at "N. Paganini” Conservatoire in Genoa .

Since 1976 – He has worked together with the “Opera Theatre of Genoa”, taking in charge of 1st, 2nd or 3rd trumpet in the orchestra.

During the 80's – He's the 1st trumpet in the “Symphonic Orchestra” of Sanremo.

He occasionally plays in other lyrical and symphonic orchestras such as the ones of Vercelli and Novara.

During the same years he works with the Chamber Music Orchestra of Genoa on "Studio per la musica nuova" and on the recording of a CD on the occasion of Paganinan celebrations.

From 1980 to 1984 – He works on TV shows hosted by Dino Crocco, Claudio Lippi and Christian De Sica.

1986/87 – He takes part in Enrico Ruggeri (winner at “Festival di Sanremo”) Italian and Swiss tour and in the making of the LP "Vai Rouge" as well as in the show recorded at Teatro Olimpico in Rome which later would have been broadcast on RAI 2.

He works with "Columbus Orchestra" and now he's a member of the jazz orchestra "Bansigu Big Band"which, born in 1990, it has worked with the most important Italian and American including Rava, Fresu, Basso, Gianmarco, Trovesi, Paul Jeffrey, Bob Ilber, Bob Mover and Andy McGhee.

From 1980 to 1984 – he's music education teacher at "D. Alighieri" secondary school. In 1984 he held the chair of music education and he was the theatrical activities manager in 1991.

Since September 1997 – he has been conducting the "Filarmonica Sestrese Orchestra", supervising the repertoire's international music arrangements of composers such as Alan Parsons, Pink Floyd , Queen and others.

1991 - RC " Columbus Orchestra"produced by Columbus Orchestra, played by "Columbus Orchestra", recorded live from Teatro Comunale, Modena.

1994 - RC "Tocco di classe" produced and released by "Disco Più", played by "Columbus Orchestra".

1994 - "Louisiana Jazz Club 30 anni dopo.."CD, produced by Giorgio Lombardi, released by Louisiana Jazz Club, played by "Bansigu Big Band.

1994 - "Dal virus alla rivelazione" CD played by "Mr Puma e i Raptus", produced by Madaski. This album made possible the making of a video later broadcast on MTV, and the appearance, as guests, in a comedy show on RAI 3 hosted by Zuzzurro and Gaspare in1995.

1998 - "Concerto dell'Orchestra di Fiati della Filarmonica Sestrese"CD, played, produced and released by Filarmonica Sestrese.

1998 - "L'Isola di Bansigu" CD played by Bansigu Big Band, produced and released by Bansigu Arte and Musica, recorded between 1993 and 1994.

1999 - "Bansigu plays Duke Ellington" CD, played by Bansigu Big Band, produced and released by Bansigu Arte and Musica.
